Google updates subscribed calendars slowly.

Google decides for itself when to check this feed — often once or twice a day, and there is no way to make it refresh sooner. Apple Calendar and Outlook usually update within an hour. Don't rely on a synced calendar for last-minute changes — check this page or use the “Add this event” link on an individual event, which copies it across immediately.
